In this idyllic setting, Harvest Moon begins its tale of love and loss in the midst of nature’s bounty. The 2015 drama film stars Jessy Schram as Jen Stone, an advertising executive forced to return to her family farm after her father suffers a heart attack. There she discovers that her family is on the verge of losing their farm due to financial difficulties.
As she helps her mother Martha (played by Willie Aames) and brother Brian (Jesse Hutch) prepare for the upcoming harvest season, Jen starts to reconnect with her rural roots and finds herself falling in love with local farmer Brett (Jesse Hutch).
